Starting from 2016, BC has new Property Transfer Tax (PTT) rules. Those changes apply to new home purchase. Under the new rule, PTT will be partially or entirely waived for new homes under 800k in selling price. In Greater Vancouver area, there is very limited single house listings under that price.
